| An exclusive guided tour to the ancient and famous Officina Profumi Santa Maria Novella, dating XIIIth Century. Raised soon after 1221 by the Domenicani brothers, at that time only for the monastery access, the pharmacy becomes later on so famous once its doors were opened (1612) for external visitors too. During the XIIIth century, thanks to the efficacy of the medicines, the pharmacy became famous in Russia, India and China also. Many centuries distance, nowadays, there are used the same formulas used in the past by the Domenicani brothers to help to the creation of new pharmaceutical products. | |
